Let's start sharing my Xlog from here.

Is this similar to a very early blog? There is always a feeling of writing a blog for the first time.

What to share in the future#

If I can stick with it, I will probably share some related content below

Drawing related: 2D original hand-painted coloring
3D related: 3D model ideas, thoughts, creativity
Software related: some tips and tricks for blender, 3dsmax, moho, ae
Music related: some music demos and completed track sharing
Video related: MV editing for music, related software video tutorials
NFT art related: will continue to create NFTs similar to drawing, modeling, and music
Life notes

Speaking of drawing#

It's been a long time since I last drew. It's almost Christmas again. I remember the last time I drew a Christmas greeting card. Here is the Christmas crane picture from last time:

There is also a dynamic version of this picture, and the production process video has been released on YouTube. If you are interested, please help me increase the number of views and give it a thumbs up. Thank you in advance.

It's been a long time since I last drew, mainly because AI drawing has become more and more powerful this year. I thought about drawing for a week, but there was no income. The AI can generate hundreds of images better than mine in a few seconds, so I didn't feel like drawing anymore.
Fortunately, I have come to realize that even though AI is strong, it belongs to others. Even if AI-generated images are impressive, they are still the result of someone else's data training. The core is to enjoy the process. So I will continue to update and share on Xlog when the drawings are completed, probably.

Retro plan#

This is a recent idea that suddenly came to mind, or you can call it a new plan and direction for my own video and content creation. Maybe it's because of my age, I'm starting to like old objects more and more, old cameras, old TV shows, nostalgic music, cassette tapes, CD players, and even old advertisements from the past. It's a magical feeling. When you hear or see them, you feel like you can go back to that era just by closing your eyes, like a spiritual time travel.
Recently, I have watched many videos made by bloggers and realized that everyone is overly focused on the same content and purpose. So I thought, instead of following everyone else's trends and hardware, why not take a reverse approach? I can use existing tools, old ideas, and techniques to present new ideas and record new life. This is also a good idea. So I have been creating a lot of retro-related content recently.
For example, this animation: (It will be featured on my retro plan platform as the framework for video content in the future)

I also made a retro music piece: Feel free to listen

I am still thinking and preparing for more about my retro plan, and it will be announced here when the time comes.

blender#

This year, the biggest benefit for me is from blender. Most of my work is done with the help of blender. It renders fast and the results are good. For less demanding projects and videos, I use Eevee for rendering, and for more sophisticated ones with sufficient production time, I use Cycles. The parameters are simple and the effects are great.

Blender, such a powerful software, is open source. So in the future, I will share some of my experiences and tips for using blender. The videos will be released on YouTube and linked here, and I will also publish text tutorials and my own notes here. (Setting a goal in advance)
